Distinctions:  Everett’s transformation from a mill town to an urban center and aerospace center of excellence serves to offer up a desirable place to live, work, and play.  South Everett boasts the Boeing massive manufacturing complex, home of the 787 Dreamliner that is scheduled to roll out 7-8-07.  This magnet, in turn, draws numerous peripheral technology companies doing business with Boeing.

Whether you are in Everett to work or to play, you can easily find enjoyment in a concert or a wine tasting jaunt.  Downtown Everett is a bustling retail, financial and government center, as well as a relaxing destination for dining, entertainment and art.  A variety of one-of-a-kind shops and inviting restaurants make the downtown area a popular destination.  Housing can be found in and around the city, Marysville to the north, and Mill Creek, Lynnwood, and Bothell to the south.  Affordability varies by area.

Of course, there are the spectacular views.  To the west is the saltwater shoreline of Port Gardner Bay and Possession Sound as well as the Olympic mountain range.  To the northeast and east are the shores of the Snohomish River and the majestic views of the Cascade mountain range and Mount Baker.  To the south lies the major city of Seattle and, on a clear day and standing on tiptoe, enjoy a peek-a-boo view of Mount Rainer.
