Snohomish County Demographics

Snohomish County is located on Puget Sound, about 30 minutes north of downtown Seattle. It is one of the largest counties in Washington State, home to the Boeing Co.'s largest assembly plant as well as to thriving cities, rich agricultural land and many small communities that give it its rich character and unparalleled quality of life.

Snohomish County's varied topography ranges from saltwater beaches, rolling hills and rich river bottom farmlands in the west to dense forest and alpine wilderness in the mountainous east. Glacier Peak, at 10,541 feet, is one of the highest mountains in the country.
